                      BEA-TRADING ANNOUNCEMENT OWN SHARES


The Bergesen d.y. Group has today bought a total of 25,000 of its own shares,
being 15,000 A-shares and 10,000 B-shares for NOK 176.50 and NOK 162.37 per
share respectively.

After this purchase The Bergesen d.y. Group owns totally 40,000 of its own
shares, being 30,000 A-shares and 10,000 B-shares.

Total number of outstanding shares after this is 59,582,056.
