THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONTAINS INSIDE INFORMATION FOR THE PURPOSES
OF ARTICLE 7 OF EU REGULATION 596/2014, AS IT FORMS PART OF
DOMESTIC LAW IN THE UNITED KINGDOM BY VIRTUE OF THE EUROPEAN UNION
(WITHDRAWAL) ACT 2018.
Suspension of listing of the University's GBP300,000,000 4.25%
Bonds due 2053 (the "Bonds")
The University of Manchester (the "University") announces that,
due to circumstances outside its control, the University may be
unable to publish its financial statements for the year ended 31
July 2020 within 6 months in accordance with Listing Rule
17.3.4(2).
In such circumstances, the University will request that the
Financial Conduct Authority (the "FCA") suspend listing of the
Bonds on the Official List of the FCA.
