                      Acquisition discussions terminated

On 27 June 2001, the Board of ACI, the investment vehicle, announced that the
Company was in discussions to acquire the entire issued share capital of IAC
Holdings Limited ("IAC"), a film and television development, finance and sales
agency business.  In light of the current stockmarket conditions, the Board no
longer believes that it is in the best interests of ACI shareholders to
complete the acquisition of IAC, due in part to the fact that it required a
simultaneous fundraising.  Accordingly, discussions with IAC have ended.

At the time of the announcement of the proposed acquisition of IAC, trading in
the Company's shares on AIM was suspended.  It is anticipated that trading
will resume immediately upon release of this announcement.
