Statement re cancellation of listing

THE AIDA CLOSED-ENDED FUND LIMITED 
 
CANCELLATION OF LISTING ON THE MAIN MARKET OF THE LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE 
 
At a general meeting of the Company held at 12:10 p.m. on 5 August 2010, 
shareholders passed the proposals to wind-up the Company and to distribute 95% 
of the value of the Company to the shareholders in the form of shares in the 
Aida Open-Ended Fund Limited on the same day. 
 
The Company now announces that the primary listing on the Main Market of the 
London Stock Exchange of the ordinary shares of USD 0.0125 each by the Company 
(ISIN number GG00B1KBGL24) be cancelled from 8:00 a.m. on 6 September 2010. 
 
In accordance with the Circular dated 2 July 2010, the Company expects to make 
a final distribution to shareholders in the fourth quarter of 2010.
