                               Board Appointment


THURSDAY, 10th April 2008 - Arthro Kinetics plc (AIM: AKI) ("Arthro Kinetics" or
"the Company"), the orthopedics company dedicated to regenerating joint mobility
and spinal disc function announces the appointment of Professor Dr. Ulrich
Wolfgang Peter Abshagen (age 64) as a non-executive director with immediate
effect.


Professor Abshagen is a founder and managing partner of Heidelberg Innovation
GmbH, the European venture capital group that has a holding of approximately 56%
of the issued share capital of the Company. Prior to Heidelberg Innovation,
Professor Abshagen served as president and chief executive for the
pharmaceutical business of Boehringer Mannheim GmbH, now part of Roche Group.

approximately 0.1 per cent of the issued share capital.


There is no further information to be disclosed under Schedule 2(g) of the AIM
Rules.
