AGM Statement

Autologic, a leading provider of support services to the automotive industry, will be holding its Annual General Meeting today and John Davies, Non-Executive Chairman, will provide the following update on current trading.

"In March, when the Group's final results were published, we stated that we were cautious about the outlook for 2011 in view of the macro-economic environment. While this remains the case, I am pleased to report that the new financial year, to 31 December 2011, has started well. Sales volumes since 1 January to the end of May are ahead of the same period last year on a like-for-like basis and we expect results for the first half and consequently the full year to be better than we originally anticipated. The improvement on last year reflects greater activity in both the UK and Mainland Europe but was also in part helped by the poor weather experienced at the end of 2010, which deferred some activity into 2011.

The Group remains well positioned for the full year, albeit that trading conditions in the current economic climate remain difficult to predict with certainty."
