Appointment of Non-Executive Director 
 
 
The Company announces the appointment of Catrina Holme to the Board of Directors 
of the Company with effect from 26 February 2009. 
 
Catrina has been working in the private equity and venture capital sector since 
1993. For the last 8 years, she was a Partner at DFJEsprit, investing in some of 
the UK and Europe's leading technology companies. 
 
 
As well as investing, Catrina has had extensive operational and technical 
experience. Originally qualifying as a lawyer at Travers Smith, she was a member 
of the British Venture Capital Association's Legal and Technical Committee from 
2004 to 2008. Catrina has held both Board and Executive positions in venture 
capital backed companies. 
 
 
Commenting on the appointment, Rupert Pennant-Rea, Chairman of the Company said: 
 
 
"We are delighted to welcome Catrina Holme to the Board. Catrina's broad 
experience of venture capital is expected to be of great benefit to Acuity VCT." 
 
 
Catrina Holme does not hold any directorships in other publicly quoted 
companies, nor has held any in the last five years. 
 
 
Catrina Holme, representing DFJEsprit, was a Director of Environment IQ Limited, 
which was placed into administration in February 2006.
