Fourth Return of Capital 
The Boards of ADC Zeros 2010 PLC and ADC Zeros 2012 PLC announce a fourth 
capital return under the Capital Return Scheme, which was approved by 
Shareholders at Extraordinary General Meetings held on 3 August 2007, of: 
·     20p per 2010 ZDP Share; and 
·     20p per 2012 ZDP Share. 
This capital return, amounting to approximately GBP3 million in aggregate, will 
be paid on 28 May 2010 to ZDP Shareholders on the registers at the close of 
business on 21 May 2010 (the ex-return date being 19 May 2010).  Following 
payment of this capital return, a total of 88.6p per ZDP Share will have been 
returned to ZDP Shareholders. 
In accordance with the terms of the Capital Return Scheme, the capital 
entitlements of the ZDPs will be adjusted on 28 May 2010 by deducting from the 
accrued capital entitlement per ZDP at that date (being 57.30p) the amount of 
the capital returned per ZDP referred to above (being 20p).  Accordingly, on 28 
May 2010 the accrued capital entitlement per ZDP Share will be reduced from 
57.30p to 37.30p and, thereafter, the capital entitlement per ZDP will continue 
to accrue at the rate of 6.5 per cent. per annum, based on the reduced capital 
entitlement of 37.30p as at 28 May 2010.  On that basis, the final capital 
entitlement per ZDP Share on 30 April 2012 will be 42.11p. 
The Board of Aberdeen Development Capital PLC confirms that no return of capital 
is being made to Ordinary Shareholders following the suspension of further 
payments to Ordinary Shareholders under the Capital Return Scheme until such 
time as the accrued capital entitlement of the ZDP Shares has been paid in full 
being approved by Shareholders at General Meetings held on 25 March 2010 and 6 
April 2010. 
The Board will continue to monitor liquidity and return capital to Shareholders 
as circumstances allow.
