                      COMPLETION OF SHARE BUYBACKS AND TVR 
 
 
Avarae Global Coins plc ("Avarae" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that 
the two share buybacks by the Company announced in August 2008 and April 2009 
(the "Buybacks"), whose completion had been delayed for certain technical 
reasons, have now been completed. 
 
Due to Isle of Man company law technicalities, the buybacks were not, until now, 
able to be completed. The issues have now been resolved and the 22.0 million 
ordinary shares ("Ordinary Shares") in the Company that were the subjects of the 
Buybacks have now been cancelled (the "Capital Reduction"). 
 
As previously set out in the Company's 2009 interim results released on 18 
December 2009, the Capital Reduction has resulted in: (i) the Company's issued 
ordinary share capital being reduced by 22,000,000 Ordinary Shares to 88,133,334 
Ordinary Shares; and (ii) the Company's debtors being reduced by GBP1.24 
million. Accordingly, had the Capital Reduction taken place on 30 September 
2009, the Company's net asset value per Ordinary Share would have been 
approximately 12 pence on that date. 
 
For the purpose of the Financial Services Authority's Disclosure and 
Transparency Rules, the Company's total issued share capital at the date of this 
notice and following the transaction consists of 88,133,334 Ordinary Shares of 1 
pence each, with one voting  right per share. There are no shares held in 
treasury. 
 
The total number of voting rights in the Company is therefore 88,133,334. 
 
The above figure of 88,133,334 may be used by shareholders as the denominator 
for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify 
their interest, or a change to their interest in, the Company, under the 
Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
