Issue of Equity

Anglesey Mining plc has today approved the issue of 600,000 new ordinary shares
at 14.75 pence per share to discharge an account payable of �88,500.

Application has been made for the new ordinary shares to be admitted to trading
on the main board of the London Stock Exchange and dealings are expected to
commence on 8 May 2006. The shares will rank pari passu with existing shares.
Following the issue there will be 138,108,051 ordinary shares outstanding.
