    BUSINESS CONTROL SOLUTIONS GROUP PLC
    ("BCS Group" or the "Company")

    Trading Update
    The Board of Business Control Solutions Group plc (BCT.L), the provider of consultancy and software control solutions, provides the
following update on trading for the year ended 31 December 2008. 
    The Board is pleased to report that trading is in line with market expectations with the business recording a profit for the year. 
    Nigel Walder, BCS Group CEO, commented:
    "Despite the continuing well publicised difficulties facing the financial services sector we remain on track to deliver a profit for the
year.  The Company has a healthy cash position and having taken steps to re-focus the business and rationalise our cost base in H2 2007 and
early 2008, we currently believe we are well positioned to chart our way through the challenging market conditions which are expected to
continue in 2009."   

    Further information will be given in our preliminary results announcement for the full year to 31 December 2008 due to be released on 27
February 2009.
