Business Direct Group plc, confirms that as at 31 January 2007 the Company's
Issued Share Capital is 166,981,733 Ordinary Shares of 1 pence each. No Ordinary
Shares are held in treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the
Company is 166,981,733.

The above figures may be used by shareholders in determining whether they are
required to notify their interest in Business Direct Group plc, or a change to
