                                  REDEMPTION NOTICE


U.S.$200,000,000 Subordinated Undated Floating Rate Notes (the "Notes") of 
Santander Central Hispano Issuances Limited (formerly BSCH Issuances Limited) 
(the "Company")


Pursuant to the written resolutions of the Directors of the Company dated the 
2nd of March, 2005, the Company has decided to redeem on the 28 April, 2005 
(the "Redemption Date") the above mentioned issuance with its entirety.


On the Redemption Date, the Company will pay to the Noteholders the principal 
amount of the Notes, plus accrued and unpaid interest for the interest period 
from 29 October 2004 to the Redemption Date of US$ 7,824.48 per each Note with a 
denomination of US$500,000.00

Please note that the Notes are listed with ISIN Code number XS0113051998 
although this code has been cancelled by Euroclear. The outstanding ISIN Codes 
for the Notes are CMB000001510 and XS0108259622 and the Common Codes are  
CMB1510 and 10825962.


The Company hereby request that you cancel on the Redemption Date the listing of 
these securities from the Official List of the London Stock Exchange.
