                                 AGM Statement

Biotrace International Plc, a leading manufacturer of industrial microbiology
products, held its Annual General Meeting today.


Following the meeting, Mr Terry Clements, Chairman of Biotrace, issued the
following statement:

"We are pleased to announce that all resolutions proposed were duly passed,
including a proposal to pay a final dividend to shareholders of 1.15p per share.
This, together with the interim dividend of 0.40p, brings the total dividend for
the year to 1.55p, an increase of 11% on 2004."
