Proposed suspension and cancellation of listing of Subscription Shares

The Board of CC Japan Income & Growth Trust plc today announces the proposed suspension and cancellation of the Company's Subscription Share listing, in accordance with the details set out in the prospectus published on 22 January 2021 (the "Prospectus").

As set out in the Prospectus (and also set out in the Company's announcement on 27 January 2023), the final date on which Subscription Share Rights can be exercised is the last Business Day in February 2023, being 28 February 2023. As a result, the Company will request that the standard listing of the Subscription Shares be suspended from 7.30 a.m. on 1 March 2023.

As set out in the Prospectus, at the end of the period of 14 days following the Final Subscription Date, all the unexercised Subscription Share Rights attaching to the outstanding Subscription Shares will lapse and such Subscription Shares will be immediately reclassified as Deferred Shares in accordance with the Company's articles of association, and following such lapse and reclassification, the listing of Subscription Shares will be cancelled (TIDM: CCJS; ISIN: GB00BM90B010), which cancellation is expected to be effective as at 8.00 a.m. on 15 March 2023.

Holders of Subscription Shares can continue to exercise their Subscription Share Rights up until 6.00 p.m. on 28 February 2023. Any Ordinary Shares arising on exercise of the Subscription Share Rights will be allotted within ten Business Days of the first business day of the calendar month following the month of the relevant subscription date.
