         The Claims People Group plc ("Claims People" or "the Company")

                                Issue of shares

The Company has today issued and allotted 2,937,500 ordinary shares of 1.5p each
in the Company ("New Ordinary Shares") to The Innovation Group plc in
satisfaction of the second tranche due on a license agreement entered into by
the Company in February 2001.

Application for admission to trading on AIM for the New Ordinary Shares has been
made and trading in these shares is expected to occur on Wednesday 12 January
2005. The New Ordinary Shares will, on Admission, rank pari passu in all
respects with the existing ordinary shares of the Company.
