The Board of Close Brothers Protected VCT PLC announces that the unaudited net
asset value of the Company as at 22 June 2007 was approximately 101.9 pence per
share (excluding treasury shares). This is before accounting for the dividend of
2.5 pence per share payable on 10 August 2007.
