                        Crystalband plc ("the Company")



                    Placing of 1,250,000 new Ordinary Shares



Further to the fundraising of #500,000 announced on 21 April 2005, the Company
is pleased to announce that it has raised a further amount of approximately
#150,000, before expenses, by way of a placing of 1,250,000 new ordinary shares
of 0.5p each ("Ordinary Shares") at 12p per share ("the Placing"). Application
has been made for the new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and
dealings are expected to commence on AIM on 24 June, 2005. The shares will rank
pari passu with the existing Ordinary Shares and the enlarged issued share
capital following the Placing will be 27,886,401 Ordinary Shares.



The Placing resulted from interest identified during the fundraising in April
and the proceeds will be used to provide additional working capital.
