Grant of Options


On 1st November 2006 Conister Trust plc (the "Company") granted share options
over 1,375,000 Ordinary Shares of 25p each. The exercise price of the options is
54.1p. The options are exercisable subject to performance criteria being met.


375,000 share options were granted to senior staff and 1,000,000 share options
were granted to Jerry Linehan, Director of the Company, under the Employee Share
Option Scheme 2003.


In addition to the newly granted options Jerry Linehan currently holds 20,000
Conister Trust plc Ordinary Shares of 25p.
