                       Notification of Major Shareholding





Cozart plc was notified today that on 29 June 2007 Koninklijke Philips
Electronics N.V. purchased an additional 4,971,466 ordinary shares of 1p each in
the Company ("Shares"). This is a result of the exercise in full of their Option
to acquire 4,971,466 ordinary shares in the Company, as announced on 28 June
2007.



As a result of this transaction Koninklijke Philips Electronics N.V. now holds
9,706,196 Shares representing 8.7% of the enlarged issued share capital of the
Company.

Cozart is a medical diagnostics company which develops, manufactures and sells
immunodiagnostic tests, predominantly those used for the detection of drugs of
abuse. Cozart's products include laboratory based testing kits for the detection
