DEBENHAMS TO COME TO OCEAN TERMINAL

Forth Ports is delighted to announce that Debenhams will be
the principal key anchor tenant at the new Ocean Terminal
shopping development on Edinburgh's Waterfront.  The new
Debenhams department store will cover an area of 7,000 sq.m.
and will also incorporate a roof-top restaurant.

The Ocean Terminal development will commence on site in the
Spring of 1999 and will be open for trading by the Spring of
2001.  It will be a unique, day and night waterfront shopping
and leisure development with 21,366 sq.m. of shops, a six
screen cinema, restaurants and a food terrace overlooking the
newly refurbished Former Royal Yacht Britannia.  The Ocean
Terminal development will be carried out in joint venture at a
total cost of #100 million.  Further announcements will be
made in due course identifying the name of our joint venture
partner and the remaining key anchor tenants.
