Cancellation of Trading on AIM 
 
 
Astaire Group plc ("Astaire") announced on 20 July 2009 that it owned, or had 
received valid acceptances in respect of, 29,929,755 Dowgate Shares, 
representing approximately 75.80 per cent. of the total voting rights of Dowgate 
and that the Offer for the Company was unconditional in all respects. Astaire 
also announced that it would procure that Dowgate makes application to the 
London Stock Exchange for the cancellation of admission to trading on AIM of the 
Company's shares. 
 
 
The Company announces that cancellation will take place at 7.00am on Tuesday 18 
August 2009. 
 
 
As Astaire owns or has acceptances in respect of more than 75 per cent. of 
Dowgate Shares, cancellation will taken place without the approval of Dowgate 
shareholders. 
 
 
As Astaire stated this morning, cancellation of the admission to trading of 
Dowgate Shares on AIM would significantly reduce the liquidity and marketability 
of any Dowgate Shares not acquired by Astaire through the Offer and the value of 
any such Dowgate Shares may be affected as a consequence. In addition, certain 
protections afforded to shareholders in an AIM listed company will no longer be 
available. 
 
 
Shareholders who wish to accept the Offer and have not already done so, should 
refer to the announcement by Astaire of 20 July 2009 and to the relevant Offer
