    EQUEST BALKAN PROPERTIES APPOINTS GRANT THORNTON AS AUDITOR

    Equest Balkan Properties, the property investment company focused on commercial, retail and industrial property in South Eastern Europe,
announces that, with immediate effect, Grant Thornton has been appointed as auditor to the Company.  This appointment is in accordance with
an ordinary resolution, which was proposed at the Company's AGM on 23 July 2008 and subsequently passed.

    Furthering its strategy of reviewing and reducing operating costs where possible, EBP expects to produce a considerable saving through
this appointment.
