Education Development International plc ('the Company') announces that it has 
been notified that, on 18 August 2010, Nigel Snook, Chief Executive, purchased 
15,000 Ordinary Shares in the Company at 93.5 pence per Ordinary Share. 
 
Following the above purchase, Mr Snook has an interest in 3,141,437 Ordinary 
Shares in the Company, representing approximately 5.5% of the Total Voting 
Rights.
