Director Interests

Further to its earlier announcement on 27 June 2014, Energy XXI announces that the Company's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, John D. Schiller, Jr., acquired 18,007 US $0.005 common stock ("Shares") by an issue of Shares as a result of the July 2014 vesting of performance based units (PBUs) at a price of US $21.24 per share.

The Company has made application for 18,007 Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM, which is expected to become effective on or around 30 July 2014.
