Pursuant to a notification under S198 Companies Act 1985 received today we have
been advised by Cox Communications, Inc. and Cox Communications Holdings, Inc.
that the beneficial interest in 20,701,084 ordinary shares of 10p each in the
capital of Flextech Plc registered in the name of Cox Communications, Inc.
(the 'Shares') has been transferred to a wholly owned subsidiary, Cox 
Communications Holdings, Inc.

For the avoidance of doubt, the shares, which represent approximately 13.1% of
the issued share capital of Flextech Plc, remain registered in the name of Cox
Communications, Inc.
