FRAMLINGTON INCOME & CAPITAL TRUST PLC

The board has declared the company's first interim dividend for the first
quarter of the year to 31 March 2001.  A dividend of 1.00p per income share of
25p nominal value will be paid on 8 September 2000 to those shareholders on
the register of members on 18 August 2000.
