Further to the statements made in Framlington Income & Capital Trust PLC's
latest annual report and accounts and interim report, Mr John Morrell's
retirement as chairman and a director of Framlington Income & Capital Trust
PLC will take effect from 31 December 2000. Mr Simon Meredith Hardy has been
appointed chairman of the Trust with effect from Mr Morrell's retirement.
