          NOTIFICATION OF INTERESTS OF DIRECTORS AND CONNECTED
                                 PERSONS

At the Annual General Meeting of GiroVend Cashless Systems PLC held on 10
September the Company received shareholder consent for the creation of a new
Inland Revenue approved share option scheme, The GiroVend Cashless Systems PLC
1999 Share Option Scheme.

Following the announcement of the Group's interim results yesterday, options
over ordinary shares in the Company under this new scheme have now been granted
to all group employees and to certain of the directors. The details of grants in
respect of directors are as follows:
