As anticipated in the circulars to shareholders dated 29 February, 2000 and 20
March,  2000 following completion of Transacsys' placing and open offer  Peter
Massey,  Clare  Salmon  and  James  Clyde have  been  appointed  directors  of
Transacsys  with  immediate  effect.   In  addition  Mick  Newmarch  has  been
appointed non-executive deputy chairman of Transacsys.
