Global Marine Energy plc ("GME" or the "Company") advises that , further to its
announcement of 2 April relating to cancellation of the admission of, and
trading in, GME shares on AIM, London Stock Exchange has confirmed that
cancellation will take effect from 7.00 am on 1 May 2008.
