HENDERSON FINANCIAL OPPORTUNITIES FUND LIMITED (in voluntary liquidation)

CANCELLATION OF LISTING ON THE MAIN MARKET OF THE LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE

At a general meeting of the companyheld at 11:00 am on 13 December 2010, shareholders passed proposals to wind up the Company.

Following the passing of these proposals, the Company now announces that the primary listing on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange, and the secondary listing on the Channel Islands Stock Exchange, of Class A ordinary GBP0.001 shares (ISIN GG00B5VHPP42) and Class B ordinary GBP0.001 shares (ISIN GG00B5VQ1W01) be cancelled from 7:00 am on 28 January 2011.
