Appointment of Non-Executive Director



Hurlingham Plc ("Hurlingham"), is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew
Francis Blurton, aged 50, as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect
from 11 June 2004.



Mr Blurton is the Joint Finance Director of Marylebone Warwick Balfour Group
Plc, a position that he has held since 1995.  He has many years of public
company experience an has valuable knowledge of the hotel industry.  He
therefore brings a wealth of experience to Hurlingham, which the Board considers
will add greatly in the next stage of the Company's development.



Commenting on the appointment, Chairman Charles Llewellyn said, "The Board is
keen to build on the success of its hotel and travel operations and is
considering options for raising capital to enable the Group to develop earnings
growth from the management of further hotels.  Andrew's proven ability in these
areas will assist the Board in assessing the best way forwards and I therefore
view his appointment as an important step in the achievement of our strategic
goals.  I welcome Andrew to the Board and look forward to working with him in
the years ahead."
