HEADLINE: Suspension of Redemption Facility 
 
The Board of Invesco English and International Trust plc (the "Company") 
announces that it has decided, in view of the size of the redemption requests 
it has received, not to offer shareholders the opportunity to redeem shares in 
the Company until further notice. Each quarterly redemption is considered 
carefully in the prevailing circumstances at the time and the Directors retain 
absolute discretion to determine whether redemption requests should be accepted 
and the method by which redemptions are to be satisfied. 
 
The Directors intend to evaluate all options to accommodate redemption requests 
as a matter of urgency without prejudicing remaining shareholders and 
accordingly will write to shareholders in due course with proposals regarding 
the future of the Company.
