                   IMAGESOUND APPOINTS NEW BOARD MEMBER

       David Clayton-Smith joins Imagesound as Non-Executive Director


27 April 2006. Imagesound plc (AIM: ISD.L), one of the UK's leading suppliers of
in-store music, radio and TV services to the branded retail and leisure sectors,
today announces that is has appointed David Clayton-Smith to the board as
Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.


David Clayton-Smith (52) is a management consultant with The Foundation,
advising on strategic projects for clients including Skoda UK, M&S and National
Savings and Investment. From 1999 to 2005, he was Non-Executive Director and
strategic adviser to the Executive of handbag.com, Europe's largest on-line
magazine for women.


Prior to joining The Foundation, David had spent the previous twelve years as
executive director at retailers Halfords, Boots the Chemists and Do It All.
David's early career was spent with Courage Ltd where he held a variety of
positions ending up as Group Marketing Director.


David was a Director of the Advertising Standards Board of Finance from 2000 to
2004 and Chairman of the Committee of Advertising Practice from 1998 to 2000.


Imagesound's Executive Chairman, Derek Mapp, said:

marketing background and extensive experience of working in a variety of blue
chip retail businesses will be of great benefit to Imagesound."


There are no further disclosures required under para 6 (f) of Schedule 2 of the
AIM rules.
