Update from the Board of JPMorgan Emerging Europe, Middle East & Africa Securities plc

Following the Board's announcement on 17(th) August 2023 that the Company was applying to participate in a tender offered by Detsky Mir, the results of the tender can now be confirmed.

The Board announce that the Company's application in respect of all its shares held in Detsky Mir has been successful. Following the completion of the tender, the Company will no longer have any holdings in Detsky Mir. The proceeds (RUB 286.2m, approx. GBP2.35m) received from this tender will be held in a custody 'S' account in Moscow and will not be recognised in the Company's net asset value.

The above details will be included in the list of questions and answers (Q&A) to be updated on the Company's website shortly .
