TRADING STATEMENT 
 
 
Shareholders are advised that the Company's earnings per share ("EPS") and 
headline earnings per share ("HEPS") for the year ended 31 March 2009 are 
expected to increase to 0.44 pence profit compared to a loss of 0.08 pence for 
the previous corresponding period.  The positive EPS and HEPS for the year ended 
31 March 2009 is mainly attributable to an exchange gain that has arisen from 
the inter-company loan between Kiwara and its wholly owned subsidiary, Kiwara 
Resources Zambia Ltd ("Kiwara Zambia") 
 
 
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been 
reported upon by the Company's auditors. The Company's results for the year 
ended 31 March 2009 are expected to be published on 25 June 2009.
