Director/PDMR Shareholding amendment

                       DIRECTOR/PDMR DEALING - AMENDMENT                       

The following amends the Director/PDMR Dealing announcement released today
under reference number PRNUK-0612 at 7am.

The number of shares acquired by Peter Hammonds was 25,000, not 20,000 as
previously stated. All other details remain unchanged and the full amended
announcement appears below.

                             DIRECTOR/PDMR DEALING                             

The Board of Kurawood plc (the "Company") received notification that Fox
Capital Limited (a company in which Justin Martin and Roy Tilleard, both
directors of the Company, each have a 50 per cent. interest in) yesterday
acquired 20,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 103.75p per share.
As a result of this purchase, Fox Capital Limited holds 4,787,000 ordinary
shares in the Company representing 28.16 per cent. of the Company's issued
ordinary share capital.

The Company also received notification that Peter Hammonds, a non-executive
director of the Company, yesterday acquired 25,000 ordinary shares in the
Company at a price of 105p per share. As a result of this purchase, Peter
Hammonds is interested in 30,000 shares representing 0.21 per cent. of the
Company's issued share capital.
