    Completion of the disposal of London Scottish Invoice Finance Limited     

The Board of London Scottish Bank plc is pleased to announce that, following
receipt of shareholder approval at a General Meeting of the Company on 30th
July 2008 and satisfaction of all other conditions relating to the disposal,
the disposal of London Scottish Invoice Finance Limited to Hitachi Capital (UK)
plc successfully completed today.
