MITON INCOME OPPORTUNITIES TRUST PLC (the "Company")

The Company has been informed that Mr Peter Dicks, a non-executive Director of Miton Income Opportunities Trust plc, purchased 5,000 Ordinary 25p shares at a price of £4.5234 each on 10 May 2013.

The Company has also been informed that Ms Zoe Weldon, a connected person of Mr Peter Dicks, a Director of the Company, purchased 1,000 Ordinary 25p shares for inclusion in an ISA, at a price of £4.5234 each on 10 May 2013.

As a result of these transactions Mr Peter Dicks has an interest in 21,000 Ordinary Shares of the Company, representing 0.13% of the Shares in circulation.
