Appointment of New Auditor

Metals Exploration plc (AIM: MTL) ("Metals Exploration" or the "Company"), a gold producer in the Philippines, announces that the Company has appointed PKF Littlejohn LLP ("PKF") as auditor with immediate effect for the financial year ended 31 December 2023. PKF's re-appointment for the subsequent financial year will be subject to approval by shareholders at the next Annual General Meeting of the Company to be held in 2024.

The Company's Audit Committee undertook a formal competitive audit tender process following the financial half-year ended 30 June 2023. The process to manage the transition from Evelyn Partners LLP ("Evelyn") to PKF has been completed and Evelyn has deposited with the Company a statement confirming that there are no matters to be brought to the attention of the Company's members or creditors for the purposes of Section 519 of the Companies Act 2006.
