Result of AGM

At the Company's AGM held today all resolutions were duly passed.

A copy of the resolutions concerning special business passed at the meeting has
been submitted to the UK Listing Authority, and will be available for
inspection at the UK Listing Authority's Document Viewing Facility, which is
situated at:

The Company is also pleased to announce that HM Revenue & Customs has confirmed
that the Company has been accepted as an investment trust in respect of the
year ended 31 December 2007.

This approval is subject to any material arising from an enquiry pursuant to a
notice under paragraph 24, schedule 18 of the Finance Act 1998 or a subsequent
discovery that may impact upon the Company's ability to be approved as an
investment trust.
