Invu Releases Beta Version of Ergo

Next generation search, clustering, visualisation and social networking tool

Invu Inc ("Invu") (LSE, AIM, Symbol; NVUK), the innovative document management
software provider, today announces that ErgoTM, Invu's next generation search
and social networking tool, is available in Beta release from today.

Ergo demonstrates an astonishing ability to understand and organise information,
to discover and visualise this information in new and exciting ways and to allow
users to collaborate on a local and global level using pen and touch.

Ergo allows the user to search more intelligently. Using proprietary clustering
engine Ergo takes the local desktop files and Internet search results from
Microsoft Live, Google, Wikipedia, Yahoo and Flickr and visualizes these in
either 2 or 3 dimensions. Ergo can take pages upon pages of search results that
would normally take a long time to trawl through if viewed in a traditional
1-dimensional list, and displays them on a single surface. Ergo already has a
number of patents pending, including International Patent Application PCT/EP2007
/060844.

According to Microsoft, on average people search for 11 minutes before finding
what they are looking for, and half of them abandon searches without getting
that far.. By Gartner's estimate, half of potential Web sales are lost because
visitors simply can not find what they are searching for.

Another feature of Ergo is ThumbFlowTM. This is a document carousel viewer which
generates 3-dimensional thumb nails of the documents or web pages within the
selected clustered collection of files. In addition, the user can preview any
document without having to open the target application by using Ergo View.

Ergo's user interface has been designed to easily navigate and interact with the
user's documents using a finger, thumb or a stylus.

"Ergo uses a range of new technologies to create an immersive application that
looks fantastic," said Todd Landstad, ISV Architect, Mobile & Tailored PC
Partner Group at Microsoft during his recent demonstration of Ergo at Microsoft
Mix 07. "It accepts search information, and gives you back results and clusters
them based on relevance, with a very intuitive user interface."

"After you have found a document or web page, you can easily annotate on it
using a stylus. You can then share your searches and your comments within your
social network.", said Justin Staines, Invu's VP Alliances for Ergo.

To use Ergo Beta, customers require a machine running Windows Vista. Beta copies
are being distributed now, and the Release Candidate will be shipping in January
2008. Invu is currently taking orders throughout November for Ergo from OEMs to
pre-install Ergo on their machines. The end user retail price for Ergo is
expected to be around the $249 level.
