"Live" Date for Key Project

    OFEX HOLDINGS PLC: "LIVE" DATE FOR KEY PROJECT

OFEX is pleased to announce that its market is moving to competing market maker
quotes at 8am on Monday 12th July, following the completion of a successful
testing programme. The participating market makers at this time will be
Hoodless Brennan, J P Jenkins, Teather & Greenwood and Winterflood Securities.

Jonathan Jenkins, Joint MD of OFEX commented: "This move heralds a new era for
OFEX. A number of institutions have already indicated that they will now
consider investing in OFEX securities, therefore increasing the access to
capital for OFEX constituents. Also, a number of key online brokers who were
previously unable to transact in OFEX securities are in various stages of OFEX
membership application. Therefore we believe we have now removed all the key
regulatory and infrastructural barriers to entry for the investment community".

"The completion of this six month project is testament to the considerable
efforts of all the market makers, the quote vendors and indeed our own staff. I
would like to take this occasion to thank them in helping us to deliver a
better service to our customers. We know that there are high expectations on
OFEX in 2004 and this is only one part of a continuing process of development."

As of 12th July, all OFEX-traded ordinary* securities will have firm two-way
quotes from a minimum of two market makers, with each ordinary security being
allocated a "normal market size", in accordance with common market practice.

Price and trade data will be available through the usual data vendors -
Bloomberg, FT Interactive, Reuters, Telekurs, Thomson Financial, and other
licensed third parties (such as Updata and ADVFN). The OFEX website,
www.ofex.com, will also carry the market data.

All OFEX companies and members (brokers and advisers) will be advised of the
market makers operating in each security before the live date.

NOTES TO EDITORS
