   Leading oncology product developer to raise new funds through Amsterdam IPO



Prelude Trust plc ("Prelude" or "the Trust"), the investment trust specialising
in high growth technology-based businesses and managed by DFJEsprit, is pleased 
to announce that portfolio company Kiadis Pharma ('Kiadis' or 'the Company') has
revealed its intention to raise new funds via an IPO and to apply for its shares
to trade on the Amsterdam Euronext in the coming months. Kiadis Pharma plans to 
use the proceeds of the placing primarily to progress the development of its key
blood cancer products.

Kiadis Pharma has a clinical pipeline of compelling oncology products under
development for end-stage blood cancer patients, whose treatment options are
currently limited. The Company's lead products focus on blood cancer and target
limitations or complications of bone marrow transplantation. Kiadis Pharma has
operations in the Netherlands and Canada with clinical trials at selected
hospitals in Europe and North America already taking place.

Kiadis Pharma is currently preparing the filing of a Phase III study for one
product and expects to have phase III clinical studies of three novel blood
cancer products running before the end of 2008.

The Company plans to maintain full ownership of clinical development of its
blood cancer products so that it can market and sell the products to hospitals
specialised in bone marrow transplantations.
