                  DISPLAYLINK RAISES FURTHER US$24 MILLION ROUND


Prelude Trust plc ("Prelude" or "the Trust"), the investment trust specialising
in high growth technology-based businesses and managed by Esprit Capital
Management Ltd ("DFJ Esprit"), is pleased to announce that DisplayLink (the
"Company") has completed a new US$24 million funding round. DisplayLink is a
semiconductor and software company providing a range of chips for connecting
multiple displays to laptops and PCs via wired or wireless USB. The Company's
products are built into USB enabled diplays, laptop docking stations and
projectors.

The Series 'C' round was led by new investor DAG Ventures of the USA and
supported by the existing investors. The Trust invested in DisplayLink in 2006
alongside other funds managed by DFJ Esprit and did not participate in the
latest round. In anticipation of this funding round, the valuation of the
Trust's investment was increased to #2.6 million at 30 September 2007, compared
to investment cost of #1.9 million. The Trust's shareholding has reduced to
7.56% from the 10% level reported at 31 March 2007.

Alan Duncan a partner with DFJ Esprit and a director of DisplayLink said: "We
are very pleased with the progress that DisplayLink has made since our
investment last year. The Company's products are today used in a number of
exciting products including a new generation of USB enabled monitors from
Samsung and LG and universal docking stations from Toshiba and Kensington."
