Puma VCT II plc ("the Company")


As at the close of business on 30 December 2005, the Net Asset Value per
ordinary share ("NAV per share") of the company was 105.02p. This represents a
significant gain (of 5.1%) on the NAV per share as at 30 September. Fully
diluted NAV per share was 104.02p.

The strong performance was the result of strong gains in both the qualifying and
non-qualifying holdings. The strong performance in the Company's hedge fund
portfolio has continued in 2006 to date.
