Major new order in North America

Supercart (AIM:SC.), the UK company involved in the design, marketing and distribution of plastic shopping trolleys, announces that Plasti-Cart Inc., the Company's wholly owned North American subsidiary, has received the largest single order for its all plastic 'MAX200' trolley since the product was launched in 2009. The order is from an existing major US customer, with stores across North America and throughout Europe. The order is worth over $1.0 million and is for delivery in the third and fourth quarters of 2011.

This order will be recognised in the next financial year and will have no impact on the current trading period for the eighteen months to 30 June 2011. The Company confirms that trading in the first five months of 2011 has been broadly in line with management forecasts and that the outlook for the remainder of 2011 and beyond remains encouraging.
