Shaft Sinkers Holdings plc (the "Company")

Funding Update

Shaft Sinkers provides an update with regards to the proposed GBP9.2 million issue of convertible loan notes (the "Convertible Loan Notes") announced on 22 August 2014.

Discussions with potential investors in relation to the Convertible Loan Notes are continuing and preparation of the associated circular to shareholders is ongoing. However, the Company will not now be ready to post the circular to shareholders by 5 November 2014.

Further announcements will be made as appropriate.
