                     Tadpole Technology plc ("the Company")

                                    Placing


The Company is pleased to announce that it has, conditional upon admission to
the Official List, placed 20,000,000 new ordinary shares of 1 penny each in the
Company ("Ordinary Shares") with an institutional investor at a price of 2.925
pence per share, raising #585,000 before expenses.

The proceeds of the placing will be applied to the further development of the
Company's application streaming business.

David Lee, Chairman, commented "we are pleased that a major institution is
joining our shareholder base. Their decision to invest ratifies the board's
strategy of focusing on the applications streaming business and endorses the
Company's leading intellectual property position and product offering in this
rapidly developing market."

Following the placing the Company's issued share capital will consist of
426,284,844 ordinary shares of 1p with voting rights and 1,687,283,244 deferred
shares of 1p to which no voting rights attach. This placing will represent 4.69
per cent of the Company's ordinary shares of 1p.

Therefore the total number of voting rights in the Company is 426,284,844. This
is the figure shareholders may use as the denominator for the calculations by
which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a
change to their interest in, Tadpole Technology plc under the FSA's disclosure
and Transparency Rules.
